Evening Courses

January - May 2018

By Rev. Jerry Knight

This course is a study of the theology of the Old Testament in terms of its progressive unfolding of the truth of redemption as it finds its consummation in Jesus Christ.  This course will enable students to see the overall covenantal structure of God's work in creation and redemption, and how that work climaxes in Jesus the promised Messiah.  The student should also be enabled to place the various epochs of redemptive history in the context of the overall plan of redemption.  Skills in treating various historical texts from a biblical-theological perspective should also be developed.
